GREENHOUSE
Source: Corriere della Sera
As you know I'm a great lover of the mountain thus see these mountains with their glaciers end in this state is truly distressing. Now believe that the disease is irreversible even because I am convinced that none of the major economic powers have an interest to bring it to the remedies. It 's really depressing. Here are three brief examples that I found on the website of Corriere della Sera.

BASILICA OF SANT ' AMBROSE
Ambrose himself was buried there and has since changed its name, taking the current one. In the ninth century
, underwent major renovations took the bishop Angilberto II ( 824 - 860 ), which did add a great apse, preceded by a environment dominated by barrel vault, under which were held funzioni liturgiche .
Sotto il ciborio venne collocato l' Altar of Sant'Ambrogio, a masterpiece of ' Carolingian gold, gold in , silver, gold, precious stones and enamels, as a conspicuous signal the presence of the relics of Saints, placed below the altar itself, visible through a window at the back.
The church has taken the final appearance of the 1088 and 1099, when, in the wake of Bishop Anselm, was radically rebuilt in patterns of ' Romanesque architecture. Was maintained its three aisles (without transept ) and corresponding three apses, in addition to quadrangle, even if they are no longer needed to host the catechumens , but as a meeting place. The
lantern was added towards the end of the twelfth century but collapsed soon ( 1196) was quickly rebuilt, with the particular shape of the external features galleries with arches on two registers.
The DEVIL'S COLUMN This monument is a Roman column erected in the square of the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio with two circular holes that perpetually emanates a strong smell of sulfur.
According to legend, the square was a place of confrontation between the devil and Ambrose . The holy pushed against the Satan the column and these remained stuck until the next day with horns, thus producing the two holes. Only the Devil
barely managed to free himself and escape. According to tradition, putting their fingers in the holes will attract good fortune, but by receiving the ear can also hear noises coming from hell and some say they feel even the smell of sulfur.
